princesa. by =sugarunicorn. The Suggester tells us: "I found this in my box today, and love love love the antique feel. She has such a soft look to her and she looks like a simple piece, but you can really tell she was made with a lot of care. ^_^ I thought this piece would be a good share."

Description
WOW, thank you SO much for the daily deviation! i am so, so flattered! :3
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i think i am liking this new style i'm trying - its a bit closer to how i draw with more traditional media. I think I'm finally getting close to a good way to render mouths and noses without such flat shading or the need for lipstick (which will make drawing men much easier, if i ever dare...).
entirely vector, made in adobe illustrator over 12 hours or so. lots of pen tool, gradient layers, and inner glow.
i would love to credit the border brush that i used in part of the frame.. but um, frankly I can't remember where I found it. Gah. If you recognize it, please let me know!

Wow... this deviation is just beautiful. Everything from the expression on her face to the patterns on the dress. The colors blend so well together and I think this looks like I love the brushes you used in princesa. This seems like something I would find in a big, rich mansion because it's just so pretty. I feel like this should be something out of a fairytale. You have a great sense of creativity, which is shown through this piece. I truly do admire your work, please continue with this style because I know for a face that there are several others who love this piece just as much as I do.
